WORK JAPAN Web and UX/UI Design
Client: Misa Matsuzaki
WORK JAPAN is a multilingual job site dedicated to foreigners living in Japan. What makes this mobile app unique is that you can fix an interview with the employer as soon as you apply to the position, saving time to both parts.
The mobile app’s key audience is primarily foreigners that have just landed in Japan, and, most of the times, don’t speak the language.
On the other hand, the profile for the employer’s dashboard is in the other extreme, as they are mainly senior Japanese business owners who often don’t speak English.
To target the different demographics, I came up with a simple and clean design that would be easy to understand for both parts and consistent in both the website aimed to employers (in Japanese) and the app aimed to candidates (multilingual)
I created different personas, studied user journeys and created low-fidelity wireframes. After that, I would move on into high-fidelity visuals and prototypes which I would share with the developers using InVison and Marvel.
